Originally from Long Island, New York, Alex received the New York State Gatorade Player of the Year award in 2012. After graduating from Holy Trinity High School, he attended the University of Maryland, College Park to pursue his academic and athletic dreams.

In Alex’s freshman year, he earned the role as a starting pitcher for the Terps. His sophomore year, he transitioned to the bullpen and remained in that role for the remainder of his career. In 2014 Alex was NECBL Top MLB Prospect and MLB Top 200 Player to Watch. At the end of his junior year, Alex was drafted in the 5th Round of the MLB Draft (140th overall player selected) by the Minnesota Twins. After 7 seasons with the Twins, Alex retired after a career ending arm injury.
Alex earned a bachelor’s degree in Family Science from the University of Maryland.

Alex is the College Recruiting Coordinator for the Yard Wolfpack and the head coach for the Yard Wolfpack 2024 team. He also oversees the Wolfpack organization and is the head practice coach. Over the past year and a half, Alex and the Wolfpack have assisted multiple high school baseball players find a home at the next level that fits them academically, athletically, and socially.

Instructor
Born and raised in Punta Gorda, Florida, Jake attended Florida Gulf Coast University from 2013- 2016. During his time at FGCU, Jake was a 2x All American and the Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Year in 2016.
Jake was drafted by Washington Nationals in the 7th Round of the 2016 MLB Draft (214th overall player selected). A few years later he made his Major League debut with the Nationals against the New York Mets on March 30th, 2019. Later in the 2019 season, the Nats would go onto win the World Series, and Jake would earn himself a ring and new title of “World Series Champion”.
Consistency at the plate and versatility in the field earned Jake multiple Minor-League All-Star Awards in 2017, 2018, and 2021 during his tenure with Washington.
Jake earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Jake’s goal is to bring a higher level of instruction to the area with his experience and knowledge of the game.
Instructor
Nick is currently the Director of Player Development at the University of Maryland.

A 5 year pitcher at the University of Rhode Island Nick displayed his versatility through different roles such as starting, relieving and closing games. Nick was also voted captain 2 years in a row by his teammates.
After suffering a season ending injury in his 5th year, Nick decided to transfer to the University of Maryland. During his career, Nick has played in highly competitive summer leagues such as the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League in 2017 and North East Collegiate Baseball League in 2018 and 2019. Nick was voted an all-star in the HCBL and twice in the NECBL.
Nick earned two bachelor’s degrees at the University of Rhode Island, one in Public Relations and the second in Communications. He went on to earn a master’s degree in Marketing Analytics from the University of Maryland while contributing to two regional appearances.

Nick has been coaching and training athletes of all ages for 5 years in both pitching and hitting.
Coach / Instructor
Born and raised in Essex, Maryland, Tommy attended Archbishop Curley High School, where he graduated in 2017. As a sophomore, he was an MSABC Future Star, and as a junior earned All-MIAA and MSABC All-North Region. Tommy is currently the Hitting Coach at Stevenson University.
Tommy initially began his college career at Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania. After his freshman year he transferred to Stevenson University in Owings Mills, where he graduated after the 2023 season. During Tommy’s four-year career at Stevenson, he made 138 starts in the outfield, and was an intricate part of the team’s cultural development on and off the field. He was a Conference All-Academic selection all four years at Stevenson and was a Second Team All-Conference selection in 2023. Throughout his career Tommy has battled two ACL injuries, the first his senior year at Archbishop Curley, and the second his senior year at Stevenson.
Tommy earned a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, a master’s degree in Forensic Studies, and a master’s certificate in Forensic Accounting from Stevenson University.
Tommy has been coaching/instructing baseball players of various ages and skill levels for over four years in hitting, fielding, and base running. Moving into his second season, he currently coaches the Yard Wolfpack 2024 as an assistant coach responsible for the hitters and outfielders. He is also a practice coach for the Wolfpack organization. Tommy holds Wolfpack players accountable and keeps attention to detail a focal point on and off the field.
Coach / Instructor
Will is currently the Varsity Pitching Coach at Loyola Blakefield High School.
A native of Harford County, Will graduated from Loyola Blakefield High School in 2018. In 2017, Will led Loyola Blakefield to its first MIAA Championship in 71 years. Glock was the starting pitcher for the championship game, in which he earned the win. Will is currently the Varsity Pitching Coach at Loyola Blakefield High School.
In the fall of 2018, Will began his career at the University of Maryland. As a freshman, Will collected a 2.38 ERA before suffering a torn UCL. After a two-year recovery from Tommy John, Will was a member of the history-making, NCAA Regional hosting 2022 Maryland squad, winning the BIG10 regular season championship. During the Terps historic run, Will was an intricate part of the bullpen with 20 appearances, including three scoreless NCAA Regional appearances, finishing his career.
Will earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Maryland.
Will has been working with baseball players for over three years in various aspects of the game including hitting, pitching, and fielding in both individual and team settings. Will moves into his second season with the Yard as the head coach for the Wolfpack 2026 team, and a practice coach for the Wolfpack organization. He is responsible for the pitchers and infielders. Will looks to bring a passion and knowledge of the game each time he arrives at the field.
